Privacy Policy

When you use the contact form. Your first and last name, your email address and/or phone number, the topics you tick, and anything you write in the message box. You choose whether to leave an email or a phone number; one of the two is needed so I can reply.

Automatically. When the form is submitted, your IP address is used for spam protection and rate limiting. I do not run advertising trackers, and this site does not set analytics or marketing cookies.

Please do not use the contact form to send detailed health information, diagnoses, or anything you would not want sitting in an email inbox. A short line about what you are hoping for is plenty. We can talk about the rest in person.

To answer your enquiry, to work out whether I am the right fit for what you need, and to arrange sessions if we decide to work together. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I will not send you marketing because you filled in the form.

Three services help me run this site, and your information passes through them:

• Google Firebase stores form submissions so an enquiry is never lost.
• Resend delivers the email notification to me and the acknowledgement back to you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that submissions come from a person rather than a bot.

These providers process data on my behalf and may store it on servers outside Canada. Beyond them, I do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone.

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful, and reviewed periodically. If we never end up working together, you can ask me to delete your enquiry at any time and I will. Records relating to actual coaching or counselling work are kept separately from this website, and are covered by the confidentiality we agree at the start of our work.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s PIPA, you can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to me and I will action it. There is no form to fill in and you do not need to explain why.

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in access-controlled services. No website can promise perfect security, but I keep the amount of information I hold deliberately small, which is the most reliable protection there is.

This website is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information through this site from anyone under 18. Where I work with a young person, that is arranged directly with their parent or guardian, not through this form.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
