The Unlearning
For the ones who take care of everyone else first, and end up last on their own list.
Book a ConsultationIf you are the one who takes care of everyone else first, you already know the cost. You end up last on your own list, running on empty, quietly resentful of a life you built by saying yes to everyone but you.
This program is about the transformative power of one small word: yes. Yes to yourself. We dismantle the habit of chronic self-abandonment and rebuild a sustainable rhythm of choosing your own path.
Is this you?
- You put everyone else first, and there’s nothing left by the time you get to you.
- You feel restless or quietly discontent, like you’re walking someone else’s path.
- Saying yes to yourself feels selfish, or even a little frightening.
- You’re ready to stop abandoning yourself.
What you’ll walk away with
- How to recognize the signals that you have drifted onto someone else’s path.
- A clear look at the true cost of chronic self-abandonment and people-pleasing.
- A practice of saying yes to yourself, starting small and building from there.
- A sustainable weekly rhythm of choosing yourself that quiets the fearful no.
The Shape of the Work
Four one-on-one sessions, from noticing the pattern to a rhythm you can keep. Here is the path we walk together.
How It Works
Four one-on-one sessions of 60 to 75 minutes each, held weekly or biweekly at whatever pace suits your life. Companion workbook pages come with you, so the work carries on gently between us rather than waiting for the next session. And if you would rather not do this on your own, it can just as easily be held as a workshop, or in a small group.
What people say afterwards
Kako's gentle yet insightful approach challenged me in all the right ways. I haven't raised my voice in over six months, and my children have shared that they feel truly heard.
